Saying Goodbye to Summer 2015!

Every year, time seems to go by a little faster. It seems like yesterday my littles were babies, and now Driver's Licenses aren't that far off. Summers seems to go fastest of all. We plan a million outings and dream of vacations, then turn around and the leaves are getting ready to fall! We did have a wonderful summer, but it certainly is drawing to a close. As we say goodbye to summer, we also say goodbye to oodles of designs from the Spring/Summer catalog. Many of these designs are long time favorites!

I thought I would count down a few of my personal retiring favorites as we send them off into the Jamberry vaults! Here's my run down of some of my most beloved "Going, Going, GONE" wraps!

First, we say goodbye to some of our Color of the Year wraps, including my personal favorite "Marsala in Bloom" (bottom right) which I wore with "Marsala Chevron"(sticking around!). It's also retiring in it's sleek solid, as well as "Mirage". This has been a joy to have around this year. I can't get enough of it's rich, earthy, wine color. Don't worry, you haven't seen the last of it, but if you love these designs, be sure to add them to your cart soon!

Next, "Everything Nice" (top right, worn with  "Icy Taupe Polka"). This was one of the first chevrons that was introduced with the sparkle chevron layers between the solid colors, and I absolutely love that look. Everything Nice in particular is great with it's cool tones of blue and green, sophisticated with darker blue and a gorgeous neutral taupe. This wrap pairs so beautifully with many others. I love to see it worn with solids, such as retiring "Athens".   It's also lovely with "Iced".

"Gray and White Polka" may seem unassuming, but it surprised me with it's versatility. I think it was the combination of the larger, graphic dots, paired with the soft colors that made it so wonderful. This one got a lot of wear from me. I loved pairing it with our holiday wraps, and by popular demand, wore it with "Sweet Whimsy". Sweet Whimsy is retiring in it's glossy finish. Thankfully, this whimsical design will stick around in Matte. If you prefer the glossy finish, be sure to stock up!

Lastly, we send off two of my favorites: "Soiree" and "Glam". These are two that before I met Jamberry, I wouldn't have guessed I'd like! The bold combination of rich burnt orange and deep blue, with splashes of gold, is absolutely breathtaking to me! I wore both of these together in numerous mix-and-match combinations. (It's shown on the collage above at left with last year's October Host Exclusive--and this picture is actually featured on Glam's official Jamberry page--so fun!) If you're looking for other pairing possibilities, consider some more graphic punch with "Slatted Herringbone" or "Arrow"!

Are any of these on your favorites list? Which of your top picks did I miss? Don't forget to order yours, whatever they may be, by August 31st!

I hope you all enjoy your last days of summer (or winter, for those of you on the other side of the globe!)! Make the most of it! Farewell, Summer! It's been a great one!

P.S. For those of you in Australia and New Zealand, don't forget that there's a call stateside time 6PM Mountain today, August 27th (your Friday morning, August 28th) with more information for those of us who will be welcoming you to our team, but also a walkthrough of the new catalog and information about branding in Australia and New Zealand, and you're quite welcome to join us! Please e-mail me through my contact form if you need more information!

Team Dancing Lotus Jams!

Reflecting back on my first year with Jamberry, the things I'm most blown away with gratitude for are my amazing customers and my TEAM! My very first team member was my BFF from high school. I'd called her to tell her about how awesome Jamberry was, thinking she might like to host a party, and we both quickly realized that joining Jamberry made even more sense for her! She hosted a party, earned $50 towards her consultant kit, and joined in August so that she was also eligible for a $50 rebate on her kit!

As we worked together we quickly realized what an amazing company this truly was, and  what an incredible opportunity it was for people just like us. We started dreaming of being able to share this with more people, whether it was to allow them to stay home with kids, earn extra money to pay off debt, or just to fund their Jamberry collection! We talked on the phone nearly every day and I even took a 4 hour road trip so we could spend a day planning how to build up a supportive environment for our future "Jamily". And we had So. Much. Fun. Which made us even more excited to share this opportunity.

The thing is, with Jamberry you can create the business that you want. And it's fun. FUN, people! It can be a total once-in-a-while hobby that helps you have a little extra money here and there for your fancy coffee (a personal favorite!), or back-to-school shopping, or you know, JAMBERRY...or you can build a business that has the potential to pay your car payments, your mortgage, pay off debt, you name it! Yes, I see the blog posts with the people that say it's crazy to think so, but sorry, it's just not so! I myself was making enough to make our car payments within a month, and soon it was enough for our mortgage, and as I posted recently, I just left a real "job" to go back to Jamberry full-time, because I was making more money with Jamberry, and having FUN in the process! I understand how crazy it sounds, but what can I say--I'm living it! And the best part is that it's not about "selling" something, it's really just about sharing an amazing product that we love!

My beautiful friend made every one of her "Fast Starts"--our bonus opportunities from Jamberry to help make our first months even more fun and successful, and earned that $50 kit credit, which meant she had essentially joined Jamberry for FREE (including all of the awesome goodies in her kit), gotten $275 in product credit, and a $100 cash bonus, all in the space of 3 months, PLUS some amazing commission. I made all of my Fast Starts as well, and we both saw how real the success of Jamberry was!

A year later we have 36 people (and counting!) on our team. It has been so inspiring to see their wild success. We have developed a super unique, genuine team, with amazing resources that we share with each of our team members. We have a Facebook group just for our team members to share ideas, ask questions, and have fun together. Our team is welcoming and so, so friendly. Our Wisconsin 'faction' recently had a meet-up just to get to know each other, and we're planning a Minnesota/South Dakota meet-up for this fall! We also have an amazing larger team that provides us with oodles of resources. It all comes together to make our jobs so simple, so easy, and again, FUN. And you guys, we're just normal, REAL people. Well, some of us are a little weird, but that increases the fun, right?!

Right now we have people from across the country on our team--Minnesota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, Missouri, Kentucky, Nebraska, Arizona, South Carolina...wow! And we're super excited to have the opportunity to share our team with Australia and New Zealand in just about a month! That's going to be truly amazing. When it comes down to it, we love this opportunity, we love the chance for people to have healthier, happy nails that let their personality shine, and we love that the Southern Hemisphere gets that chance now too!

If you're in the US, NOW is the time to join. This is that August opportunity to earn a $50 kit credit rebate! There are a few other cool bonuses happening as well! You can host a party for the opportunity to earn up to $50 credit towards your kit too, or join straight out and start earning commission on that first party you host! This month I'm sending out welcome packets full of goodies to everyone who joins my team so that you'll have everything you need to hit the ground running.

If you're in Australia or New Zealand, we should be set up to welcome early registration on September 15th to help you get a jump start on building your business there! We're happy to help you get everything ready to launch there, so let us know you'll be joining us so that we can get a package of Jam Goodness out right away and start supporting you in whatever way we can as you prepare for this new adventure. Woo hoo! Update! We now have a Facebook Group for our Australia and New Zealand Jam Sisters to join where you can ask all of your questions in a no-pressure environment! https://www.facebook.com/groups/dancinglotusaunz/

For more information, check out my website, or contact me using the form on the sidebar over there >>> (or follow up with the Dancing Lotus Jams Team Member you know!). We have an exclusive Facebook group happening right now with loads of great information that I'd be happy to add you to. There's also a special call coming up that shares more about the Jamberry opportunity. You can find more about this event on Facebook. You're also welcome to just leave a comment below with any questions! I'd love to chat with you more about the Jamberry opportunity. We can't wait to welcome you to our crazy, happy Jamberry family, and start helping you achieve your dreams!

Chalkboard Zen Nail Art Studio Wraps!

One of my favorite things about Jamberry is the Nail Art Studio. The Nail Art Studio allows users to create their own designs with a variety of backgrounds, shapes, and even text! I enjoy helping create wraps for special occasions, sports team events, and fundraiser. I have seen super cute designs created using a child's artwork--that can be perfect for Mother's Day or a gift for a teacher! You don't have to be a consultant to use the system. Give it a try at https://dancinglotus.jamberry.com/nasinfo/.
My absolute favorite thing about the Jamberry Nail Art Studio is being able to create wraps using my own artwork! I've been designing them since my launch party, one year ago this week! I really love creating wraps with my zen doodle designs. These are my latest design, Chalkboard Zen, inspired by a piece I did that combined love of chalk art AND zen doodle style artwork, on a chalkboard I created myself! My VIP group helped me with the layout for these. I'm grateful to them for their input! Right now with the Nail Art Studio system, only the designer can order these. They're available at www.tinyurl.com/customlotusjams!

Welcome to the Dancing Lotus Jams Blog!

Greetings! Starting a Jamberry blog is something I've wanted to do for a long time. With my one-year "Jamaversary" coming up in just a couple of days, I decided that it was finally time! I thought I'd start by sharing a little bit about my Jamberry journey, and how I got to where I am today!

I was brought into the Jamberry family by attending a Jamberry Facebook party. I was totally skeptical, but the idea of a healthier, cruelty-free alternative nail art option definitely intrigued me. I ended up unexpectedly being gifted a half-sheet of wraps, and as soon as I tried them, I fell in love!

Most people think of me as a pretty "crunchy" mama. I'm a vegetarian, am very environmentally minded, and am a big believer in natural beauty. I also think that it is absolutely beautiful to be able to express your inner spirit on the outside, and Jamberry seemed like an incredible way to do that. I put my pedicure on the night before we left on vacation, and was so excited to sign up that I did it on my phone, in the car, as we drove the next day! I didn't know exactly where I would go with it, but I knew I wanted to share it.

That excitement was magnified over the next couple of weeks as my adorable toes stood up to hiking through rocky streams, wading in lakes, soaking in hot tubs, swimming in pools, sandy beaches, and dusty forest trails! I had my launch party when I got home, and was so thrilled to see my friends enjoying them as much as I did.

One of the first people I shared Jamberry with was my BFF from High School. When I realized that she was as excited as I was about Jamberry, I asked her if she wanted to go all in with me! She became my first team member, and we started working hard and dreaming big to create a team that not only would spread the Jamberry love to more people who could experience it for themselves, but could share this opportunity to be a part of the Jamberry business as well. It has been great to have Michelle, as well as many of my other dearest friends join me on this journey! One year later we have over 35 people on our team, and I am so grateful for our Jamberry Family that we've created!

Last  month I left my job to go back to being a full-time Mom, Artist, and Jamberry Consultant! I am already loving have more time to support my team and serve my customers. I can hardly wait to see what's next for Dancing Lotus Jams, especially as Jamberry sets up to open in Australia and New Zealand in the coming months! (More on that later!) I hope you'll enjoy sharing in that journey with me through this blog! Thanks for being here!
